The side access can be very useful for full suspension bikes with little room on the bike frame. Besides that, the ultralight UD carbon fiber material makes this bottle cage a great choice for every bike.
Note: the orientation is based on mounting your cage to the frame down-tube. If mounting to your seattube, this would have a right-hand pull.
